Become a Volunteer

Humber River Health Foundation is actively accepting applications and recruiting volunteers for office support as well as our upcoming events. Our volunteers help us in a number of important capacities from general office support, to weekly donor thank you calls and ensuring our events run without a hitch.

When you volunteer with us, you will have an opportunity to meet new people, acquire new skills and gain valuable knowledge and experience within a Hospital Foundation. But most importantly, you’ll be making a difference in the lives of patients and families who rely on our hospital every day.

Here are a few examples of the volunteer opportunities we have available:

Foundation Office Support

(various shifts Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Calling and thanking our donors, writing thank you cards, assisting with large mailings, organizing and preparing event materials.

Foundation Event Volunteer

(evenings & some weekends, dependant on Foundation event schedule)

Help us out at our fundraising events by volunteering at our registration table, silent auction booth, stuffing swag bags for event attendees, supporting our live auction, selling tickets for the 50/50 draw and much more!
