The Good Challenge

Looking for something really fun to do that also gives back to Humber? Our new partner The GOOD Challenge is gamifying doing good, making the experience of raising funds and awareness for charity really fun, memorable, and shareable. They create adventures that can be done from anywhere and give you opportunities to win exclusive prizes for completing them.

Try one of their 10 Challenge Packs that give back, which come in a book with 10 themed challenges and include adventurous games and activities that will push you out of your comfort zone and get you trying new things. For every Challenge Pack purchased, they donate at least 20% of every dollar ($10 per pack) to one of over 20 charitable organizations, chosen by the consumer, and we’re one of them! Funds are allocated by the charity to the place of greatest need at the time of donation. Plus, they include a bonus challenge with every pack that will get you out doing something good in your community.

Challengers are rewarded the opportunity to win awesome prizes from Canadian brands that care for completing each challenge. Once a challenge is complete, it can then be passed along to nominate someone else to join in on the fun.  The instructions for each are designed to be mailed like a postcard, there is even a little spot for a stamp and to write a note to the person you nominate.

Join us and #takethegoodchallenge for Humber this holiday season! As an exclusive offer for Humber staff, you can use the code Humberake5 and you’ll get 5% off your order, plus they’ll donate an additional 5% to Humber River Hospital!

Humber River Hospital is reshaping the way healthcare is delivered in our community, but we couldn’t do it without the support of the people who live and work within our region.

Community events can be a fun way to support Humber River’s efforts to innovate and stay ahead of a changing world. Are you planning a new event like a BBQ or a movie night? Or could you add a fundraising component to an existing event, like a holiday party or team-building exercise?

Your efforts will help us reinvent patient care, implement new technology and purchase equipment. After all, when a community is healthy, it thrives. And that means a sustainable future for us all.
