Increasing PPE Supply at Humber River Hospital

Now more than ever, Humber River Hospital Foundation believes we must be there for one another to share some love and stand in solidarity with our front line health care workers who continue to provide life-saving care in all areas of the Hospital while fighting COVID-19.

Right now, like most hospitals in Ontario, Humber River Hospital is accepting donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  This equipment keeps our front line workers safe as they care for patients.  As COVID-19 progresses, we would be grateful to members of the community who are able to provide unused, unopened and unexpired PPE.

Items we are currently accepting:

  • Medical Face Masks
  • Gowns that tie in the back
  • Sanitizer wipes

We also have a need for things like surgical shields, hand sanitizer, hand soap, bleach wipes, ventilators and COVID test kits.  Please note right now, we are not accepting any food items.

If you are ready to provide any of these items, fill out this form. Please wait for a confirmation email from us before you drop off your items:

Once our team has been in touch with you to coordinate drop-off, items can be dropped off at Humber River Hospital, 1235 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, ON M6M 0B2, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 12 noon. Please proceed to the Shipping and Receiving Department located on the West side of the building.  Staff will be ready to meet to receive your product.  Please have your product packaged in boxes, with your name clearly written on the box

Please do not take your product to any other Hospital entrance.  Product will only be received at the Shipping and Receiving entrance.

All product will be inspected, assessed, cleaned and disinfected (where possible). The Foundation will keep a record of all items donated as well as your contact information.  Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to during drop-off so please stay two metres (six feet) away from other people. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to drop off donations.

Don’t have PPE to donate, but still want to help? Make a general donation or a Gift of Gratitude in honour of the Humber front line workers and all donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt.

For any questions or concerns about PPE donations, please contact Madeleine GraySenior Coordinator, Donor Engagement at 416-242-1000 Ext. 81511 or magray@hrh.ca.
