Thanks entirely to our generous donors, we have upgraded to the da Vinci Xi, purchased a second ROSA® Knee System and acquired an Intellijoint HIP.

Together we have raised $6.6 Million since launching our ambitious $10 Million Campaign in support of Humber River Health’s Robotic Surgery Program. Thanks entirely to our generous donors, we have upgraded to the da Vinci Xi, the most versatile surgical robot on the market and centerpiece of our Murphy and Helen Hull Robotics Centre. We purchased a second ROSA® Knee System, doubling our capacity for data-driven robotic knee operations, and acquired Intellijoint HIP, a state-of-the-art navigation system used during hip replacements.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, all three robots are significantly improving patient outcomes. Our robotic surgeons continue to innovate, this year launching the mymobility® App, an interactive care plan for hip and knee patients to aid recovery, and piloting a Hyper-Throughput Operating Room that will enable us to offer life-changing robotic surgeries to even more patients in less time.
