Vehicle is approaching. If you can hear this, you’re likely right around the corner from one of our Swisslog Automated Guided Vehicles on a delivery run.

Our Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are self-guided robots that move at the speed of an average person walking. They can call elevators, open doors, and carry food and supplies throughout the Hospital.

Just a few of the things that these robots carry throughout the back hallways of the Hospital:

• Non-narcotic medication from our Pharmacy Department
• Food
• Supplies
• Bedding

Don’t worry – they can’t run you over – Automated Guided Vehicles are programmed to stop for people (although they might ask you to move!)
