The Awesome Invitational Golf Tournament

Join us for an AWESOME day.

It’s been 34 years since Dr. William Francis, warmly regarded as Dr. Awesome, took the initiative to create what would unexpectedly become the longest-running fundraising event in Humber River Hospital Foundation history.

To celebrate the rich history of this event we’ve gone back to our roots and moved the tournament to a world-class private course in the heart of our community, Lambton Golf & Country Club, known for its spectacular course and scenery. Founded in 1902, Lambton is one of the oldest private golf clubs in Toronto and remains committed to preserving the traditions of golf from both a sporting and a social aspect, while at the same time recognizing the need to innovate. Having hosted 4 Canadian Opens, 5 Canadian Amateurs and 3 CPGA Championships, they’re definitely living up to their name!

So dust off the clubs and pop your collars. This will definitely be a day to remember!

Golfers will enjoy a day on a private course unlike any other, with AWESOME personalized service including:

  • An AWESOME Breakfast (buffet)
  • AWESOME on-course snacks, tastings and cold drinks
  • AWESOME gourmet lunch-time grill
  • Lost ball retrieval service (HOW AWESOME IS THAT?)
  • AWESOME Fore-caddy
  • An AWESOME golfer participation gift
  • Tastings of AWESOME world class wines
