Aspen Grove Society: Jack and Pat’s Story

May 13, 2021

As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and a Registered Nurse, Jack and Pat have always understood the value of healthcare in their community.

“Humber is our family Hospital,” says Jack. “It has been here for our family and our neighbours.”

Realizing that they were in a position to give back to Humber, Jack and Pat made the decision to support the Hospital by splitting their donations between leaving a gift in their Will and current support of the Programs they are most passionate about like the Mental Health & Addictions Program. This makes them part of the Aspen Grove Society, Humber River Hospital Foundation’s legacy giving program.

“Both of our children were born at Humber, and have been treated here,” adds Pat. “Jack and I have seen our boys in dire need of help, and Humber has been there for us.”Planned Giving Aspen Grove Society

“This blended gift was perfect for us,” says Jack. “We know the need is urgent right now. And we also feel great knowing that we’ll still be helping in the future. Whatever the future of healthcare is, Humber will be able to respond and remain on the leading edge.”

“There is so much to look forward to in the future,” says Pat. “We are very proud to be part of that.”
