PROGRAMS OF CARE

Maternal Child Care

Humber River’s Maternal Child Program is building lifelong relationships. We provide a level of support previously unavailable in a regional health centre. What this means for our patients is excellent care that includes the whole family and that links hospital, home and community as never before.

Humber River is increasingly recognized as a preferred destination for expectant mothers. Our birthing and postpartum rooms are spacious and comfortable and we are ready and able to quickly respond on-site to crises during birth.

Our innovative outpatient clinics allow our staff to extend care directly into our community and help keep kids and expectant mothers healthy—providing more and better care closer to home and preventing unnecessary use of emergency rooms. Our paediatric program has a big, bright playroom for our patients to enjoy.

Our donors have helped us build a bright and comfortable facility with top-of-the-line technology. We need to invest in even more cutting-edge equipment to meet the needs of our growing community and to continue to attract the best physicians and staff.

Great community-centred care begins with the delivery of a child. Our approach is to extend that care long past this special occasion, supporting patients and their families for generations to come. With your donation, we can realize our vision.
