Sapphire Soirée
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Humber River Health Foundation’s Sapphire Soirée — what an unforgettable night!
Because of your generosity and spirit, we raised an extraordinary $2.55 million in just one night and announced an additional $10.9 million in donations. It was a remarkable SOLD OUT evening with 800 of us coming together to celebrate community, connection, and 10 amazing years of Humber River Health’s Wilson Site.
Our surprise opening headliner performance by The Tenors (gifted as our Anniversary surprise!) was a show-stopping highlight and had the entire room on its feet. Cheryl Hickey lit up the stage as our Emcee. Fred Lee energized the room leading our Fund-a-Need, and entertainment built throughout the night — from a beautiful vocal performance by Shanaya Patel, to an electric set by our Dueling Pianos, and finally DJ Zorawar keeping the dance floor full well into the night.
Culinary delights matched the energy of the evening. Guests enjoyed a lineup of elevated food and beverage experiences including activations by Johnnie Walker, Lavazza, and Masala Whisky. The celebrations continued late into the night with gelato at the after-party, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, panettone from Christmas Goodies, and stunning Bella Florist floral favours as the perfect final touch to an exquisite evening.

A special thanks to Air Canada for donating two Business Class tickets to anywhere in the world during our Fund-a-Need, an unforgettable highlight that energized the room and sparked immense generosity, and to every single one of our supporters who donated during the Fund-a-Need.
We are endlessly grateful for our incredible donors, our unstoppable Sapphire Soirée committee, and entire Humber community. You made the Sapphire Soirée a true celebration of the people who continue to light new ways in healthcare.
