Mary and Italian Consulate General Giuseppe Pastorelli

Please join us in congratulating Mary Mauti who was awarded the Stella al Merito del Lavoro from the Italian government.  The award was founded over 60 years ago and is given to citizens around the world of Italian descent who make notable contributions to their community.  Since its inception, only 1,030 award recipients have been recognized.

Mary had the honour of receiving this award in Toronto last week from Italian Consulate General Giuseppe Pastorelli in recognition for her dedicated support of community organizations including Humber River Hospital Foundation.

Mary has volunteered countless hours at Humber River Hospital Foundation for over a decade. She has co-chaired our annual Women’s event in the past, and has now been co-chairing The River Ball since 2009.
